TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO THE TAOUNATE DPA FOR THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT (U.G.P) AND THE SUPERVISION AND CONTROL OF WORKS OF IRRIGATION DEVELOPMENT OF THE BOUHOUDA PERIMETER WITHIN TAOUNATE PROVINCE
The Bouhouda perimeter is located in Taounate Province and depends on administrative level from Taounate, R'Ghioua, Mezraoua and Ain Médiouna rural townships in Taounate circle, as well as Ain Aicha rural township in Tissa circle. It is easily reached for it is located along the national road N°8 connecting Fès to Taounate.
The gross area of the perimeter measures 3.860 ha. The area to equip will be of 2804 ha, while the net area to irrigate will be of 2.250 ha.
The irrigation infrastructures planned for the development of The Bouhouda perimeter present themselves as followed :
– connecting device to Bouhouda dam through connection to the bottom drain.
– connecting pipe between the dam and the control structure ;
– control structure of pressure and flow ;
– intake through par buried pipe on 11.950 mtr between the dam and the perimeter ;
– distribution networks of irrigation, sanitation water and traffic tracks ;
– water hydrants and intake structure at the plot level for a drip irrigation.
