TA for regional development in KONYA (KONYA AND KARAMAN), KAYSERI (KAYSERI, SIVAS AND YOZGAT), MALATYA (MALATYA, BINGÖL, ELAZĞ AND TUNCELI) AND AĞRI (AĞRI, IĞDIR, KARS AND ARDAHAN) NUTS-II REGIONS
The overall objective of the project is to support the objective set out in the Preliminary National Development Plan of reducing interregional disparities in Turkey and building institutional capacity at both central and regional level.
The specific project objectives are to :
1. Provide assistance for smooth and effective implementation and monitoring of three Grant Schemes in TRA2, TR72 and TRB1 NUTS II Regions;
2. Design and implement a Farmers Training Programme under the Agriculture/Livestock component of the project in the target NUTS II Regions;
3. Create awareness rising and provide the public with ongoing information about the programme;
4. Provide ongoing practical and formal training to regional stakeholders for the preparation and management of EU co-financed projects and to provide assistance to regional stakeholders for the preparation of feasibility studies and tender dossiers for infrastructure projects.
