The objectives of the project are to contribute to food security  through increased productivity of natural resources in a sustainable manner.
Results expected from the project are:
-Strengthening of the capabilities of public institutions, private and communal in matters of management of natural resources and food production in six regions through the establishment of concerted frameworks and of mechanisms of dispute settlement , orientation, training and equipping public and community institutions involved in management of natural resources and methodological support for  the preparation and follow-up/monitoring of local development programs, (setting up and strengthening of capabilities of 1000 village communities, 100 provincial committees and local communities).
- Securing , diversification and enhancement  of the productivity of natural resources in a sustainable manner in the Sudanese zone through hydro-agricultural development (2500 ha), the production and utilization of improved seed (5000 T), the introduction of new and better adaptable technologies (genetic materials and cultural practices) and the construction of infrastructures and dams of Logone, roads, socio-economic infrastructures.
- Restoring ,improving and conservation of soil fertility, water, and environment (GIRE, PGES, …).
