The general objective of the Project - which includes the present contract - is to contribute to the strengthening of the peace and growing process in Burundi, aiming at poverty alleviation, sustainable development and gender equity.
The specific objective of the contract is to guarantee the project implementation, through the promotion of a participative good governance and the Rule of Law.
This objective articulates around 3 components:
- Strengthening of the Rule of Law.
- Follow-up of a transparent and fair management of public affairs.
- Follow-up and progress of the decentralization process, of planning and of land use planning.
