The main achievements of the project are the following :
(i) institutional support and retraining of 201 persons at production level and 91 persons at administrative supervision level ;  
(ii) creation of an environment favourable to the installation of the private sector in the industrial fishery by the setting of an attractive investment code ;  
(iii) creation of conditions, favourables to the unloading of artisanal and industrial production  through the building of a 360 m fishery dock and the fitting out of 2 ha for the ground industries, the repairing workplaces, a market building, etc. ;
(iv) rational management of fishery resources through the searching of support and maritime supervision with acquisition of 3 patrol boats, rational management stocks ;
(v) organisation, management and setting of staff and necessary means for a good implementation of the project activities.
