Business Developer

Job Description

AGRER is currently seeking a full-time Business Developer to reinforce its staff.

Main tasks

Commercial Development

  • Prospecting potential clients
  • Establishing and maintaining business relationships with clients
  • Appraisal of project opportunities and definition of commercial strategies

Proposal Coordination

  • Preparing expressions of interest / prequalification files
  • Identifying potential experts
  • Identifying potential partners and forming consortia
  • Negotiating collaboration agreements with partners and subcontractors
  • Preparing technical and financial proposals

Project Management

  • Management of awarded contracts: technical and management support to experts; monitoring and QC of contractual delivery; quality control on services provided; supervision of projects’ administration and finance.


  • Master's degree (BAC+5) in Bioengineering, Civil Engineering, Business Engineering, Agronomy, Economics, or equivalent
  • Fluent in French and English. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent writing skills in both French and English
  • Minimum of 3 years of general professional experience, with proven experience in project acquisition
  • Professional experience in Africa, Asia, or South America is a plus
